This 1x4 fiber optical switch is based on all fiber opto-mechanical technology with proven reliability. 1X4 Fiber Optical Switch (C Type) connects optical channels by redirecting an incoming optical signal into a selected output fiber. Designed for Optical Fiber Switching from 1 Input up to 9 Outputs Piezoelectric driven switches are especially designed for fast switching – measured in milliseconds – low loss and high repeatability. The simplest device is an on/off switch with one input and one output, which allows light to pass with low insertion loss when open, and blocks it completely (or at least causes high insertion loss) when closed.
