EXFO's new FTBx-5235 gives operators the power to address all the features of today's hybrid networks—DWDM wavelengths, CWDM wavelengths and Remote PHY—with a single tool. EXFO provides highly accurate, easy-to-use intelligent optical spectral analyzers (OSAs) tailored to both laboratory and manufacturing environments. Some typical applications are: testing of optical systems, for example wavelength division multiplexing systems in optical fiber. Optical Spectrum Analyzer consists of a narrow-band tunable optical filter, a photo-detector and low noise, highdynamic range electronics, as schematically shown in Fig 1.
