In a briefing statement, the LPTIC said that the malfunction resulted from the "emergency disconnection of the external electrical supply from the international system, during an urgent maintenance procedure. Libya has formally integrated into the Medusa subsea cable system, marking a pivotal advancement in its telecommunications infrastructure.
